PARTNER WITH US
Beacon Hill is here to help turn your desire to make a difference into meaningful action.
As a volunteer, you become a vital part of our team, and we are excited to connect your unique talents with our mission to reduce trauma, restore hope, and strengthen Alaskan families in crisis and children in foster care through the love of Christ.  There are so many ways to get involved! We invite you to explore the opportunities below.

PRESERVE FAMILIES

Safe Families for Children empowers the local church to surround parents in crisis, so children remain safe and families stay together. Volunteers can show God’s love in action by serving in ways that fit their gifts—such as hosting children, supporting parents, providing meals or rides, sharing needed items, or offering prayer.

Family Support Centers provide spaces where children in foster care can spend meaningful time with their families reducing trauma, strengthening bonds, & building hope for reunification. Volunteers can partner by serving in roles like transporting families children, supporting family visits, tidying & organizing centers, or helping with events through food prep, childcare, & setup/cleanup.

PREPARE FUTURES

The Permanency Department helps legally free youth in foster care find forever families and lasting stability. Through the Heart Gallery of Alaska, we highlight each child’s story and personality to raise awareness and inspire adoption. Volunteers can make a difference by photographing youth for the Heart Gallery, helping set up or tear down our Mobile Gallery monthly, or by walking alongside a youth as a SEEN Mentor.
PROVIDE HOPE

The Boutique provides essential items with dignity and care to foster, kinship, and biological families in need. Volunteers can embody compassion by helping sort and process donations, ensuring families receive thoughtful support in their time of need. Every act of service helps strengthen families, lift burdens, and show God’s love in a tangible way.

CarePortal connects churches and community members to meet practical needs for children and families in crisis, from providing furniture and meals to offering emergency support. As a Connecting Church Leader, volunteers help mobilize their congregation to respond with integrity, embodying God’s love in action by meeting both tangible needs and offering hope to children and families.
